Guwahati Children Film Festioval 2013

 

The Guwahati Children Film Festival  organized by the Children's Film Society of India in the northeast concluded . The festival was organized to promote and expose children to the culture of cinema.The festival that started on February 26 will now visit several schools and NGOs in the northeast.

The first phase of the festival was executed by Cinedarbar, a group engaged in promoting research, aesthetics, art, culture and education at the grassroots and creating intellectual forums.http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/images/pixel.gifFrom Guwahati, the festival will travel to Shillong, Dimapur, Kohima, Aizwal, Agartala, Gangtok, and Malbasey. Shravan Kumar, CEO of the Children Film Society, was present at the inauguration ceremony of the festival in the city.

"We will now be travelling to Shillong. The children in all the northeastern states will be given an opportunity to direct a one-minute short film and the best film selected will be shown at the international children film festival," said Debabrata Nath, Cindedarbar project head (northeast).The Guwahati Children Film Festival  organized by the Children's Film Society of India in the northeast concluded .
