In the year 1965, received the award of best actress from
Tezpur Multipurpose Girls' School.

"Bhojara"
from Tezpur Baan Theatre. Worked with eminent personalities
like Chandra Dhar Goswami, Natasurya Phani Sharma, Kalaguru
Bishnu Prasad Rabha in "Siraj", "Chanakya",
"Nagraj Basuki", "Mahijivi", etc
In the year 1972, represented Darrang College in the
drama festival held at Gauhati University and bagged the
Gold medal for the drama-" Sihat Namare" written by
Prafulla Bora.
In the year 1975, took part in the play named " Fatema
Bibir Ghar" , staged at "Natghar" in Rastrapati
Bhawan and I. I. Fask hall, New Delhi.
Through " Tezpur Sangit Natakam", played the
character of "Aaita" (Grand mother) in the play
"Upapath" written by Prafulla Bora, held in various
districts of Assam.
On 31st Oct 1975, joined as a drama artist at Drama Department
of Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Assam.
Took part in a dance drama,directed by Luit Konwar Rudra
Baruah telecast on Doordarshan.
In 1975, took part in the "LokGeet" section
performed by the artists of Assam in the All India LokSangeet
Mahotsava,held at Rabindra Sadan,Calcutta,
Did the main character of "Bagi" in the year 1976,
the play written by Mr. Atul Bordoloi & Mr. Dulal Roy,
named " Brikshar Khoj" was performed in Sriram
Center, New Delhi.This particular play was performed
more than 50 times on different stages.
In the same year, acted in the drama "Sarkari
Inspector" which was adjusted as the best play in the All
India Drama Mahotsava held at Kalamandir, New Delhi.
In the year 1986, participated in " Apna Utsav".
In the same year, successfully completed training in Zikir
under the late Mr. Rekibuddin Ahmed and dance training under
the supervision of the renowned Chorographer Mr. Narendra
Sharma.
In the year 1979, participated in all the plays held at
the "workshop of Drama" which was organized by
National School of Drama under the supervision of of
" Directorate of cultural affairs, Assam and also
performed the main role in the drama "Gaonbura"
written by Padmanath Gohain Baruah.
In the year 1992, performed the role "Chijnia" in
the Drama " Kelinda" , Directed by Mr. Dulal Roy in
the National School of Drama and I. I. Fask hall, New Delhi.
Participated as Loknrita artist in SAARC Mahotsav in 1995.
Participated as a Lokanrita artist in Konark Lokanritra
Mahotsav in Suyra Mandir, Bhubaneswar
In the year 1995, successfully completed the training of
" Film Appreciation course" under the guidance of
Jahnu Baruah.
