Bollywood actress Ankita Lokhande brought tears and smiles on the faces of her and Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans as she shared a photo of her alter while offering a pooja for the late star and her ex-beau Sushant Singh Rajput.

Sharing a photo of a lit candle, she offered prayers for the late star and beautifully captioned it with a smiley and a note saying, “HOPE, PRAYERS AND STRENGTH!!! Keep smiling wherever you are.”

Later, in the same evening, actress Kangana Ranaut, Shekhar Suman Adhyayan Suman, Mukesh Chhabra joined fans including politician Subramanian Swamy to take part in the Candle4SSR online protest. This protest was initiated to demand justice for the late actor.

Kangana shared a photo of herself sitting with a candle in her Manali home which was shared on her digital team’s Twitter handle.

Actor Shekhar Suman and his son Adhyayan Suman also took to his Instagram and stood in solidarity as they paid tribute to Sushant by chanting prayers and lighting candles.

The #Candle$SSR protest was initiated by lawyer Ishkaran Singh Bhandari, who is said to be advising Kangana in the ongoing investigation of SSR’s case by the Mumbai Police. The digital protest called upon fans to light a candle in Sushant’s name at 8 pm. It is a peaceful way of requesting authorities to initiate a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) porbe into the actor’s untimely demise.

With no visual component, radio drama depends on dialogue, music and sound effects to help the listener imagine the characters and story: “It is auditory in the physical dimension but equally powerful as a visual force in the psychological dimension.”

The “Shruti Naat” or Audio Drama achieved widespread popularity and was a popular form of entertainment till the advent of modern day entertainment devices, however, radio drama began losing its audience and very rarely heard in today’s world.
