Jaya Bachchan ji is tested negative for COVID-19. We wish the Bachchan family to get well soon with a speedy recovery.”

Since the two actors got positive with COVID-19 yesterday, the family members also went through the COVID-19 antigen test and found mother-daughter duo positive with COVID-19.

On Saturday night, Sr Bachchan had tweeted, “T 3590- I have tested COVID positive… shifted to Hospital… hospital informing authorities… family and staff undergone tests, results awaited.. all that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested.”

Soon after that, son Abhishek Bachchan too confirmed that he too had been tested COVID positive. He wrote, “Yesterday both my father and I tested positive for COVID-19. Both of us have mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. The BMC has been in touch and we are complying with them. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.”

Reportedly, Amitabh and Abhishek’s health is stable and are feeling better.
