The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) cleared the Hindi version just 48 hours before its release, but not without a few modifications. The term ‘Ramavatar’ was substituted with ‘Bhagwan’, while ‘Haraam zaada’ was replaced by ‘Haraamkhor’ in three instances. Additionally, an unspecified dialogue was translated into Hindi.
