Georgia was spotted out with the Rupert in the month of April when she walked with him with her baby bump in north London.

A statement from the couple’s publicist confirmed the happy news: “Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are delighted to confirm the birth of their baby girl.”

“We would please ask that you respect their privacy at this very special time.”

A representative for the couple said, “Rupert Grint and Georgia Groome are excited to announce they are expecting a baby and would please ask for privacy at this time.”

They are yet to reveal the name of the baby.

In an interview with The Guardian in 2018, Rupert opened up about his settling down and revealed his hopes to have children someday. He said, “Turning 30 felt strange. It just doesn’t feel like I’m there yet and I don’t know what the future holds. I’m just going to go with the flow, keep playing interesting characters and see what happens.”

“I’d like to settle down and have kids soon. If I had a son, would I call him Ron? Iyt’s quite a good name, but probably not. And Grint’s tough name to pair a one-syllable first name with.”

 Rupert and Georgia who is famed for her role in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, have been together since 2011.

The 31-year-old actor has been with Georgia since 2011 and finally the couple got some good news for their families and fans.

Grint made a worldwide fame after starring in Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone in 2001 as Ron, Harry’s best friend, who is loyal but always seemed to have a hard time around. He played this role in all the eight films in the franchise.

Beginning in 2002, Grint worked outside the Harry Potter franchise, playing a co-leading role in Thunderpants. He also starred  in Driving Lessons, a dramedy released in 2006, and Cherrybomb, a drama film of limited series in 2010. He also made in Broadway debut as Frank Finger in the play ‘It’s only a Play’at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. Then in 2019, he starred in the TV series, Servant, on Apple TV+, where he was also an executive producer.

Georgia Groome is best known for her roles in ‘London to Brighton’ (2006) and ‘Angus’, ‘Thongs’ and Perfect Snogging’(2008).

The statement came a day after Groome was photographed with her growing baby bump, spotted while buying essential items along with Grint in North London.

Fans congratulated Rupert on social media. “Congratulations RON he’s gonna be a great dad,” wrote one of his fan. “I’m in love with this!!! Our sweet Ron are going to be a dad,” wrote another.

Well, it seems that the Potterheads started feeling ‘aged’ but of course couldn’t help themselves being more than happy for such an awesome news!
