As per the reports by PinkvVilla, a source close to the development said, “Krrish 4 is being mounted on a lavish scale. It will be a visual spectacle for everyone. The story has been locked and this time, it won’t just be a double role for Hrithik, but a quadruple one. Hrithik will be essaying four different characters in the film. While Krrish stays, they will also bring back Rohit from the land of dead and Jadoo from Koi Mil Gaya. It’s not known how Rakesh Roshan plans to incorporate the other two Hrithiks in the film, but it’s a full on Hrithik show. The role of the leading lady is extremely powerful too this time.”

Adding to this, Hrithik Roshan’s father and the director of the film, Rakesh Roshan said, “We are still on the script.” The sources said that, “The pre-production work has set in. they are waiting for the restrictions to ease out a bit because they plan to shoot a part of the film abroad.”

Earlier a source from the Mid-day stated that Hrithik will be travelling back in time in Krrish 4. “Given the movie’s ambitious theme, the director has entrusted Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies with the visual effects. He intends to introduce an army of super villains who will battle the hero and has hired a Hollywood designer to give a distinct look to each baddie,” said the source.

It was further added that, “Rohit is integral to the story as he is the only person who can contact Jadoo. Rakesh ji has designed the script cleverly to incorporate the much loved alien from Koi Mil Gaya (2003). While the cast is yet to be determined, Priyanka Chopra is not expected to reprise her role.”

Sharing his own experience, Abhay Deol spoke about how he along with co-actor Farhan Akhtar got ‘demoted’ at several award functions for their work in the hit film ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’.

“Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, released in 2011.Need to chant this title to myself everyday nowadays! Also a great watch when anxious or stressed.

“I would like to mention that almost all the award functions demoted me and Farhan from main leads, and nominated us as ‘supporting actors’. Hrithik and Katrina were nominated as ‘actors in a leading role’. So by the industry’s own logic, this was a film about a man and a woman falling in love, with the man supported by his friends for whatever decisions he takes,”Abhay wrote.

Eventually because of such behavior, Abhay boycotted the awards.

“There are many covert and overt ways in which people in the industry lobby against you. In this case, it was shamelessly overt. I of course boycotted the awards but Farhan was ok with it,” he added.

The movie ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ revolves around three friends, Arjun (Hrithik),Kabir (Abhay) and Imraan (Farhan) who discovers themselves and aspects of their relationships after they go on a road trip to Spain.

Abhay termed the award shows as, “Familyfareawards”.

Recently, Abhay also called out the Bollywood celebrities for not voicing problems in their own country, and coming out to support the enraged Black Lives Matter movement in the United States.

The coronavirus lockdown has given the Roshan family ‘the perfect time’ to work on their next project. A source informed Mumbai Mirror, “Rakesh ji and Hrithik, with their team of writers, have been brain-storming on how to take Krrish forward and have finally locked an idea. Jadoo has a strong recall value and they felt that with Rohit Mehra dying in Krrish 3, it would be the right time to introduce Krrish to the alien who gifted him his special powers.”

The team of Krrish have been into plans to bring Jadoo back to earth after 16 years and Hrithik had given a cryptic confirmation of the same. He told, “Yes, the world can do with some Jaadu now.”

The Roshans are working on the script and are planning to start the film at the earliest. The source added, “They have been discussing the film’s scale, visuals and other technical aspects with experts in the West.”
