The COVID-19 pandemic has affected almost everyone. Even the Bollywood hasn’t been spared from the huge loss. Several movie releases have been postponed due to the shut-down of the cinema halls. However, as the saying goes, ‘If there is a will, there is a way’ perfectly suits the situation.
As soon as the cinema halls are closed down, the digital platform has gained massive popularity. Amidst the reports that theatres might be closed for a long time, reports are there that Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani starrer ‘Laxmmi Bomb might be released on Disney + Hotstar.
As per the reports, the makers of the film are having talks with Disney + Hotstar for releasing the film on the digital platform. The movie’s post-production work had also stopped in the mid-way due to the nation-wide lockdown. However, Director Raghava Lawrence and team is working from home to get the film ready by the month of June.
A representative of the team, reportedly said that the Khiladi Kumar wants to ensure that none of the invested parties suffer any loss and that the movie reaches a wide audience. While the Disney+ Hotstar ensures that the movie will reach the audience worldwide, but still a doubt prevails as whether the mass audience in the small towns in India can be reached.
