Malaal, an upcoming 2019 Hindi romantic movie is starring the debutants, Javed Jaffery’s son Meezan Jaffrey and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece Sharmin Sehgal. The movie is the Hindi directoral debut of National Award winning director Mangesh Hadawale.
Malaal is the Hindi remake of Tamil film ‘7G Rainbow Colony’. The film is not set on fantasy life with stunning visuals as generally we see in Bhansali’s stories, rather it is a simple and pure story of middle class life and the emotions related to first love. The background music is influenced by local Marathi music. The Bengali, Odia and Kannada remakes, namely, Prem Amar, Balunga Toka and Gilli respectively are already successful.
Bhansali is reportedly been personally mentoring the two newbies and seems very hopeful towards the project. Their journey will reach its new destination on a new date; releasing on 5th July, 2019.
