The demise of young actor Sushant Singh Rajput shocked everyone and has left a void in the industry. The actor committed suicide in his Bandra house and the reason behind it is still unknown.
Sushant’s last theatrical release was Chhichhore which released last year and it even made it to the 100 crore club. Now we hear that his unreleased film Dil Bechara will have an OTT release.
The film will be soon released in Disney+Hotstar. “Dil Bechara” is the hindi remake of “The Fault in Our Stars”.
The film is helmed by Mukesh Chhabra and is Mukesh’s directorial debut and has been in the pipeline for a release for a long time. The film stars Sanjana Sanghi alongside the actor.
Several Bollywood celebrities expressed grief on social media. A devastated Akshay Kumar had posted, “Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless…I remember watching #SushantSinghRajput in Chhichhore and telling my friend Sajid, its producer how much I’d enjoyed the film and wish I’d been a part of it. Such a talented actor…may God give strength to his family.” While Richa Chadha had posted, “Hands are shaking… Gutted. Why buddy? Why? Devastated. Too young to go… too young… just call and talk if you feel sad… please ! Please! We’re all here.”
“I’m stunned. You must have been in so much pain. I hope you are at peace wherever you are my friend. Gone too soon. Ill never forget our conversations about astrophysics at sunrise..Words cease to make sense. RIP Sushant. My condolences to the family and everyone grieving this huge loss,” posted Priyanka Chopra.
Alia Bhatt penned an emotional note, expressing grief on Sushant’s untimely death due to suicide. “I’m in a deep state of shock. No matter how much I think about it, I don’t have the words. I’m totally devastated. You’ve left us too soon. You will be missed by each and every one of us. My deepest condolences to Sushant’s family, loved ones, and his fans. I hope you find the strength to make it through this devastating time.”
May be that’s why it is said that Life is too short. It is still unbelievable that Sushant is no more with us. And what is more unbelievable is that he took away his own life.
