“Empower Change: Allu Arjun’s Heartfelt Appeal for Responsible Fan Engagement Amidst Tragic Allegations”
Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun has urged his fans to express their feelings responsibly and avoid engaging in or supporting abusive behavior, whether online or offline. This appeal came through an Instagram statement after fresh allegations from Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi regarding a tragic incident at the film’s premiere. On December 4, during the premiere of Pushpa 2 at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre, a stampede led to the death of a woman and left her son critically injured. As a huge crowd gathered for a glimpse of the actor, the chaos turned deadly.
Amidst these tragic events, CM Revanth Reddy accused Allu Arjun of being present at the premiere without the necessary police permissions and claimed that he remained in the cinema hall even after the fatal incident, requiring police intervention to leave. Owaisi added his voice to the allegations, suggesting that the actor’s comments after the incident were insensitive. Both figures alleged mismanagement on the part of Allu Arjun, his team, and the theater management, leading to legal action.
Allu Arjun, in response, held a press conference where he denied all accusations, dismissing them as “misinformation” and a “character assassination.” He stated he was unaware of the stampede at the time and only learned about it the following day through a case filed against him. Offering condolences to the victim’s family, he expressed regret for the “unfortunate incident.”
Legal ramifications followed as Allu Arjun was arrested in connection to the incident on December 13 but was subsequently granted a four-week interim bail by the Telangana High Court and released a day later. The actor’s plea to his fans emphasized the importance of responsible expression and warned against engaging with fake profiles or participating in abusive discourse.
