After the end of the most loved series, “The Big Bang Theory,” the fans really missed Sheldon Cooper. Well, Jim Parson is tremendously loved for this character. But now, he will make you fall in love with his new character in the new web series “Hollywood” on Netflix.
“Hollywood” is about a group of aspiring actors and filmmakers in the post World War II as they try to make it in the Tinseltown at any cost. Set during the 1940, each character has a unique glimpse of behind the curtain of Hollywood’s Golden Age, spotlighting the unfair system and biases across race, gender and sexuality. It exposes and examines decades’ old power dynamics, and what the entertainment landscape might look like if they had been dismantled. Jim plays the role of Henry Wilson, Hollywood’s talent agent.
Along with Jim Parson, the series also stars David Corenswet, Darren Criss, Jeremy Pope, Laura Harrier, Samara Weaving, Dylan McDermott, Holland Taylor, Patti LuPone, Jake Picking, Queen Latifah, Michelle Krusiec, Joe Mantello and Manda Apatow with guest appearance of Mira Sorvino, Rob Reiner and Harriet Harris.
The 1 Season will be coming to your screens with its limited series on 1st May and will tell the tale of the iconic film industry during its Golden era and the aftermath of World War II.
