Bollywood star Sara Ali Khan and her younger brother Ibrahim Ali Khan may be sending out friendly reminders to exercise during the lockdown, but some found it “disrespectful”.
Recently, Sara posted a photo with her younger brother Ibrahim post their workout and captioned it: “Knock knock. Who’s there? Not us- we’re working out. Yes, us includes Fuffy Singh,” where we can also see their little dog joining for the click.
While on one hand they got love from their fans, on the other hand, they also got trolled viciously by some, for posting a workout video during Ramzaan.
One of them said, “Kyun krti ho yeh sab Ramadan k maheena hai saram kro. Sara Ali Khan naam hai tumhara“
Another guy commented,”Tum logo ke liye Ramzaan jesi cheeze koi maine nhi rakhte na…“
While another follower wrote,”Ye kaise royalty hai mann?? Raise your standards guys… Itna bhi kya down to earth hona ki kapde hi pehnna bhool jaao.”
Now one thing people need to understand is that its an individual choice as to whether to follow any religion or not, how to follow a religion, what kind of clothes to wear or what to eat. No one has the right to judge and shame anyone that too on social media for his/her personal preferences. This religious policing and spreading to hatred and negativity needs to stop.
