Sanjeev Kumar, a name that is imprinted forever in the history of Bollywood. The legendary actor would have turned 82 today had he been around us. He died at an early age of 48 on November 6, 1985.
Born on July 9, 1938, the late actor, though short-lived has made his name big and unforgettable. He won the National Award twice, for his roles in Dastak and Koshish. Sanjeev Kumar, who was born as Harihar Jethalal Jariwala, made into the Bollywood with the film, Hum Hindustani in 1960. He has delivered memorable performances in films like Anubhav (1971), Koshish (1972), Aandhi and Sholay (1975), Satranj Ke Khilari (1977), Pati Patni Aur Woh (1978), Naukar (1979), and Angoor (1982).
His last movie was Professor ki Padosan, which was released in 1993, much after his death. If you watch the movie properly, you will notice that Sanjeev Kumar is missing from almost 1/4th of the movie. It was done to ensure the story completion and subsequent release.
Throughout the day, Twitter was swarming with the netizens paying their tribute and love to the legendary actor, who won hearts of millions with his great acting skills, warm smile and his expressive eyes.
