The family of the late actor and his fans are still waiting for the CBI to release their final and conclusive report. Previously the reports stated that the AIIMS team ruled out the possibility of murder in the case and stated that the actor died by suicide.
Meanwhile, during the Bombay High Court’s hearing of PIL’s filed in the attempt to stop the ‘media trials’ related to the ongoing investigation, the Central Bureau of Investigation dismissed reports that the agency leaked information related to the probe.
Additional Solicitor General Anil Singh, representing the CBI, stated that of the central agencies probing the case, including the Enforcement Directorate and Narcotics Control Bureau, did not leak any information. He said, “We know our responsibilities and there is no question of leaking information by any of the agencies.”
