The corona-virus pandemic has spread to 146 countries. More than 1,64,000 cases have been recorded across the world. Among the total recorded cases, there are few celebrities too, who has been hit by the virus. Here is the list of celebrities across the globe who has been diagnosed with COVID-19:
- Rachel Matthews: The Frozen 2 and Happy Death Day star Rachel Matthews has tested positive for COVID-19. She informed her fans regarding the same through her Instagram handle.
Olga Kurylenko: The 40 years old actress who starred opposite Daniel Craig in the 2008 James Bond film Quantum of Solace, said she tested positive for COVID 19, on March 15th.
Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson : On March 11, the internationally beloved actor shared on Twitter that he and his wife, actress and singer Rita Wilson, contracted corona virus in Australia.
Idris Elba: British actor and musician Idris Elba shared a video via Twitter on March 16 to announce that he had tested positive for corona virus. He decided to go for testing after discovering he was exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with the virus.
Kristofer Hivju: On March 16, actor Kristofer Hivju (best known for his role in Game of Thrones), said he tested positive for the virus, sharing a photo on Instagram to announce the news.
Charlotte Lawrence: On March 17, singer Charlotte Lawrence took to Instagram to share that she had tested positive for corona-virus. The 19 years old artist is well known for her song “Joke’s on You”.
Manu Dibango: The Cameroonian jazz legend Manu Dibango died on March 24 of COVID-19, according to an announcement on his Facebook page. He was 86-year old was admitted to the hospital on March 18 to receive treatment. Manu Dibango is best known for his 1972 hit Soul Makossa.
Indira Varma: The Game of Thrones and The Seagull star Indira varma took to Instagram on March18 and revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19.
