Singer and rapper Badshah, along with singer Payal Dev, recently released their Hindu-Bengali track titled Genda Phool. It also stars Jacqueline Fernandez. The music video was released on March 26, and it recorded 77 million views in just 6 days.
But it seems that netizens are not happy with the track. People are miffed with Badshah for not giving credit to the original composer of the Bengali folk song. Yesteryear composer Ratan Kahar is said to be the original Bengali folk song which was titled as Boroloker Beti Lo. Bengali musician Rohan Dasgupta also brought the attention of the Jacqueline Fernandez starrer track to the viewers and expressed his sadness for not getting credited for his lyrics and composition.
