Everyone is doing his or her bit against the corona virus pandemic in one way or the other. Even Bollywood and global entertainers have joined hands to offer a scoop of entertainment so as to keep everyone engaged amid the lockdown. The initiative of the entertainers has been named as ‘One World – Together At Home’, wherein artists offer global specials of music, comedy and personal stories. In this initiative a lot of stars have come together and the latest ones to join are Bollywood actors Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra with Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish,The Rolling Stones and Beyonce.
Shah Rukh Khan talked about the state and impact of coronavirus in India. He also added that he is working with a team to provide PPE kits and quarantine centres to health workers. At the end the actor expressed his love for all and urged everyone to stay strong.
On the other hand, Priyanka Chopra opened about the challenges faced by refugee camps all around the world. She stated about the overcrowded and unlivable conditions in refugee camps; and added that the same need healthcare, clean water and sanitation.
Lady Gaga sang a couple of songs and said, ““I’m so grateful for the healthcare workers, the medical workers, all the grocery store workers and delivery people, the postal workers, all the other nonprofits that are working so hard. This is really a true love letter to all of you all over the world, and I hope a reminder of the kindness that’s occurring right now”.
