Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi are one of the adorable power couples of Television. The duo has been dating each other since they started working in the sets of Pavitra Rishta. Apparently, the couple broke up after a six-year-old relationship. It seems that the couple had been facing serious issues between them and eventually opted to bring the relationship to an end.
Ever since the news of their break up came out, the duo took to their respective social media handles to share one or the other cryptic posts. Rithvik took to his Instagram handle where he posted two stories which were love notes and stating reasons why he cannot go back to normal. It is said that after the 6 years of relationship, they decided to part away. The news seemed to be a rumour at first but it seems their close friends know about the spilt and it’s true!
He quoted in one of the picture, ‘To know love is to know how to give. Unconditionally. There is no greater wisdom than unconditional love. The yoga of love.” While the other one read as, “Nothing should go back to normal. Normal isn’t working. If we go back to the way things were, we will have lost the lesson. May we rise up and do better.”
Asha also took to her Instagram handle and shared a throwback photo with the lyrics of ‘Dil hai Chhota Sa, Chhoti si Asha,’ which made her fans wonder if she is trying to move on.
A day before that, Rithvik had posted another cryptic post on his Instagram story which quoting J.M. Storm, “I laughed. I laughed like a kid when it dawned on me that so much of what I worried about wasn’t mine to begin with. What people think and how they perceive you isn’t in your power. And yet we let it rob us of who we truly are. All in the name of fitting in with the herd and that my friend is bullshit.”
Rithvik and Asha were part of the reality show, ‘Nach Baliye Season 6 and also won the trophy in 2013. Both seemed to be close to each other’s family too as we can see multiple pictures on their Instagram handle.
The news has hit the AshVik fans and they seem to be heart broken.
