Filmmakers Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar have put together I For India, a concert featuring some of Bollywood’s biggest names, to raise funds for Give India Foundation and support those displaced by coronavirus and pay tribute to the efforts of the frontline workers. The actors performing in the event include Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Anushka Sharma. “Karan and Zoya have been coordinating with the actors for a few weeks and have got almost all of Bollywood under this project. The actors were asked to share individual acts not exceeding four minutes,” reveals a source.
The two-hour variety show will feature singing, dancing, speeches and standup.
