After being admitted for COVID-19, Amitabh Bachchan is now stable say hospital authorities

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan was admitted to the hospital last night, after being testing positive for COVID-19.

Now reportedly, he is stable.  As per a statement released by the Public Relations Officer of Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai, where the actor has been admitted, the veteran is currently in the isolation unit of the hospital and is stable with mild symptoms.

Last night saw millions of friends and fans of the Bachchan family get worried as both Amitabh and his son Abhishek Bachchan confirmed through their Twitter accounts that they had been tested positive for COVID-19 and were admitted to the hospital. 

Abhishek tweeted, “Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you.”
