Kriti Sanon is stepping into the world of film production with her upcoming thriller, “Do Patti,” where she takes on a double role for the first time. This film represents a significant milestone for the actress as she ventures into production while simultaneously exploring the thriller genre. Produced by Kanika Dhillon’s Kathha Pictures and Kriti Sanon’s Blue Butterfly Films, “Do Patti” is helmed by debut director Shashanka Chaturvedi and written by Dhillon.
The star-studded cast includes Bollywood veteran Kajol, alongside Sanon, in a compelling story about twin sisters entangled in deep secrets and a convoluted murder attempt investigation led by a dedicated police inspector. Set in the enigmatic town of Devipur, Uttarakhand, the narrative intertwines elements of love, betrayal, and revenge, promising a riveting series of events filled with intrigue and deception.
Marking another debut in the film is Shaheer Sheikh, who plays the suave Dhruv Sood, introducing an element of romantic tension and complexity as he navigates a dangerous game of one-upmanship, hiding his own secrets under the guise of love.
