Aikyatan, a progressive socio-cultural organisation founded in 1976 by Pabitra Kumar Deka, Udayaditya Bharali, Nitya Bora, Anil Deka, and others, will commemorate its glorious Golden Jubilee with a two-day event on 13th and 14th February, 2026, at New Art Players Auditorium, Guwahati Club, Dipok Kumar Barthakur Road, Guwahati–1.
The eighty minutes programme will feature a short pantomime performance by Sangeet Natak Akademi winner Moinul Hoque, followed by a short mystery play titled ‘Ayurekha’, written by eminent litterateur Sourav Kumar Chaliha and directed by filmmaker Prodyut Kumar Deka. The cast of the play includes Anupam Arindam Goswami, Atanu Kashyap, Rakesh Ranjan Das and Amal Chakrabarty.
The programme will begin sharply at 5:15 PM. Entry is free for all. Aikyatan cordially requests the presence of theatre lovers and the general public to grace this celebratory occasion.
