Few days back, Akshay Kumar had shared the poster of his forthcoming movie ‘Bell Bottom’ and now according to a report from Mumbai Mirror, Vaani Kapoor has been roped in to play the female lead in the film. Vani was last seen in ‘War’ romancing Hrithik Roshan. Earlier, there were speculations that Kriti Sanon’s sister Nupur Sanon was considered for the role.
‘Bell bottom’ is a spy-thriller based on true events set in the 80s’ and it will hit the screens on 2nd April, 2021, as revealed by Akshay Kumar. The film is directed by Ranjit M Tewari and produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jacky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, Monisha Advani, Nikhil Advani and Madhu Bhojwani.
Meanwhile, the actor has a number of films lined up throughout the year including Laxhmi Bomb opposite Kiara Advani and Sooryavanshi opposite Katrina Kaif.
