Recently, Ramanand Sagar’s 1987 series, ‘Ramayan’ made a huge comeback amidst the corona virus outbreak. Currently, the series is ‘the most watched’ with the TRPs surging up every day.
While the show is fetching an amazing number of viewers, it came with a sad news today. Actor Shyam Sundar Kalani, who played the roles of ‘Bali’, ‘Sugriva’ in Ramayan is no more. Reportedly, the actor was suffering from cancer and breathed his last on April 6th in Kalka.
His ‘Ramayan’ co-stars, Arun Govil, Deepika Chikalia and Sunil Lahri poured their heartful note on his demise.
All through his career, Shyam Sundar has played other roles like ‘Bheem’ in Mahabharata. He also worked in films like, ‘Trimurti’, ‘Heer Ranjha’ and ‘Chalia Babu.’
A great soul and a great actor, Shyam Sundar ji will be missed by everyone.
