Irrfan Khan’s mother, Saeda Begum died this Saturday morning at Beniwal Kanta Krishna Colony, Jaipur. She was 95. According to reports, she was not keeping well, since a long time. Saeda Begum belonged to the Nawab family of Tonk. The funeral is held in the Saturday evening.
Here, on the other hand, Irrfan is stranded abroad as he is undergoing his treatment for neuroendocrine tumor and is not in a position to be at home any time soon. Irfan’s Piku Director, Shoojit Sircar told SpotboyE, “It’s very sad. I have yet to talk to him, though. I will be calling him.”
Irrfan has recently appeared in ‘Angrezi Medium’. The comedy-drama was directed by Homi Adajania and had the star cast including Irrfan Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepak Dobriyal, Pankaj Tripathi among others.
Irrfan who was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour in 2018 is currently in London for his treatment. We pray for the star’s early recovery and hope his mother’s soul rest in peace.
