Asha Negi has been in the news recently, following her break-up with her long time ‘love’ Rithvik Dhanjani. But in between this gloomy news, the fans are waiting for the second season of Baarish.
The teaser of Baarish 2, starring Asha Negi and Sharman Joshi is out and it confirms the union of their characters. Both of them are playing the lead roles in the web series who parted their ways due to their respective siblings.
The Baarish 2 teaser begins with Sharman and Asha’s characters falling in love all over again. However, the later half shows them parting their ways. The show also has a cameo role by the veteran Bollywood actor, Jeetendra.
The show will be aired on Ekta Kapoor’s ‘AltBalaji’ which has already shared the poster of the show on Twitter with a caption, “Baarishon ki saazishon ko phir se jee lo ek baar, Anuj aur Gauravi ke sath! It’s the anniversary of theor love as #Baarish completes 1 year today!” The trailer of the second season will be out on 29th April.
Sharman is seen as a Gujrati businessman named Anuj while Asha plays the role of a middle-class Marathi girl named Gauravi. Asha’s brother’s role is played by Vikram Singh Chauhan and Priya Banerjee plays the role of Sharman’s sister. The first season was aired on television in March to fill the slots as no new shows or episodes could be shot due to the lock down caused by the corona virus pandemic.
