Actor Sushant Singh Rajput is no more: Actor found hanging at his home in Bandra

The shocks and heart breaks in 2020 is not coming to an end. With the demise of the legendary celebrities of Bollywood in the recent times, the country was shook up and yet another gem of the entertainment industry who became a heart throb in the recent years left this world tearing everyone’s heart to pieces.

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput died toadying, having been found hanging from the ceiling in his home in Mumbai’s Bandra on Sunday. The Mumbai police has confirmed the 34-year-old, Sushant’s demise.

The members from the film industry have expressed their shock at this.

Actor Manoj Joshi, a member of the CINTAA said, “I don’t have words for this. I don’t know how to react. He tweeted his condolences:

Sushant’s co-star and ex-girlfriend, Ankita Lokhande could hardly react to the news. When she was informed about his demise over phone, she just reacted saying “WHAT” and kept the phone.

Akshay Kumar is also shocked and speechless hearing this news and tweeted, “Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless. I remember watching #SushantSinghRajput in Chhichhore and telling my friend Sajid, its producer how much I’d enjoyed the film and wish I’d been a part of it. Such a talented actor…may God give strength to his family.”

Filmmaker Karan Johar expressed his sadness as he tweeted, “This is shocking. ..I have such strong memories of the times we have shared… I can’t believe this… Rest in peace my friend. When the shock subsides only the best memories will remain.”

Industry trade analyst Taran Adarsh spoke about being completely heartbroken, and reflected on how Sushant Singh Rajput had passed away too soon. He tweeted, “ Shocked beyond words…Completely heartbroken…Really tragic…At a loss of words…Gone too soon…

Actor Nawazudding Siddiqui said, “I can’t believe this all…it’s shocking…a beautiful actor and a good friend…it’s disheartening #RestInPeace my friend #SushantSinghRajput. Strength to the family and friends.”

Filmmaker and activist Ashoke Pandit termed it a huge loss to the entertainment industry. He tweeted, “Yet another horrible news! #SushantSinghRajput no more. It’s a huge loss to our entertainment industry. Deepest condolences to his loved ones. Om Shanti!

Sachin Tendulkar tweeted, “Shocked and sad to hear about the loss of Sushant Singh Rajput. Such a young and talented actor. My condolences to his family and friends. May his soul RIP.

Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan posted, “I’m deeply shocked and saddened to hear about the suicide of #SushantSinghRajput my heart goes out to his family.”

Sushant Singh Rajput rose to fame with his popular TV show, Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV, produced by Ekta Kapoor. Playing the character of Manav, Sushant was a daily name at everyone’s house. after gaining the popularity from TV, he made his debut in Bollywood with Kai Po Che, directed by Abhishek Kapoor.

Sushant was critically acclaimed for his portrayal of iconic detective Byomkesh Bakshi. However, his biggest hit was the biopic of the former Indian captain  MS Dhoni’s Untold Story. He was also the male lead in Sara Khan’s debut movie Kedarnath.

In 2019, Nitesh Tiwari’s  Chhichhore was among the biggest hits. He was last seen in the Netflix film, Drive and was working for Dil Bechara.
