As Sadak 2 trailer continues to suffer backlashes and public ire, it has now become the third most disliked videos in the world.
The trailer has received more than 10 million dislikes as of now, and is the top most disliked videos in India. It is just a behind Justin Bieber’s song ‘Baby’ which has received 11.6 million dislikes.
The movie Sadak 2 stars Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in the lead roles. Seeing the star cast, the movie automatically drew flak amidst the nepotism debate, with Alia Bhatt being criticized ‘the most’.
Just a few hours after the trailer release, the video had already made it to the most disliked videos in the world with some 5.3 million dislikes and had surpassed PewDiePie’s most disliked video with 5 million dislikes in less than 24 hours. At that time, the video held the seventh position among the most disliked videos and now has risen the ladder to third position.
Inspite of the fact that the original movie Sadak, that starred Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt was superhit, the trailer of its sequel has received widespread criticism as ‘being a product of nepotism’. The data was analysed and published by India Today’s Data Intelligence Unit (DIU).
