“Unstoppable Chemistry: Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor Ignite Romance in ‘Abir Gulaal'”
Pakistani star Fawad Khan and Bollywood’s Vaani Kapoor are nearing the completion of their new romantic comedy, “Abir Gulaal,” set to wrap filming in London on November 11. Directed by Aarti S. Bagdi, known for “Chalti Rahe Zindagi,” the film is a collaboration between Indian Stories, A Richer Lens, and Aarjay Pictures, with producers Vivek B. Agrawal, Avantika Hari, and Rakesh Sippy. The filming spanned various picturesque locations across the U.K. over October and November.
Industry sources reveal that Khan has finished filming his scenes, while Kapoor is scheduled to complete hers by Monday. Adding to the buzz, a viral photo shows the leads smiling with the team, alongside Khan’s wife, Sadaf Khan, enhancing public excitement for the on-screen chemistry between the stars.
The plot of “Abir Gulaal” centers around two emotionally scarred individuals who meet by chance, finding healing and love through their unexpected connection. This intriguing storyline has fueled anticipation among fans.
An unveiled first-look poster of the lead pair had already created waves over a month ago as filming began. The project marks the first international venture for Eastwood Studios, co-founded by former Reliance/Phantom executive Vivek B. Agrawal and Devang Dholakia.
Simultaneously, Fawad Khan is busy with numerous projects, including the Zindagi series “Barzakh,” the upcoming “Shandur” on SonyLIV, and Pakistan’s first Netflix project, “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo.” He is also involved in “Neelofar,” which he co-produces and stars in with Mahira Khan. On the other hand, Vaani Kapoor’s upcoming films include the Netflix crime thriller “Mandala Murders” and the dramedy “Badtameez Gill.”
