Sigmund Freud, the founding ‘Father of Psychoanalysis’ had gone through a lot before he could establish that the human mind was composed of the three elements: the id, the ego, and the superego.
This Australian psychologist uses his knowledge of human mind to solve crimes. The high-end drama and suspense will make you grip your chairs while you watch him solve the murder mystery in 19th Century, Vienna with his ‘theory of psychoanalysis’.
According to the Sinembargo portal, director Marvin Kren told that the aim of the series is to show a new perspective of Sigmund Freud. He added, “I want to show an unknown Freud, a man in search of recognition that is torn between two women, between reason and instinct. His psychoanalysis and the concepts of the id, self and the superego did not come from nothing but are based on the experience of a tormented genius who knows first-hand, the multiple faces of human being.
Austrian actor, Robert Finster will be seen in the role of Freud. The trailer is released on Netflix and the eight episodes of Season 1 will stream on Netflix this Monday, 23rd of March, 2020.
