The entertainment industry is one of the worst hit industry during the corona virus pandemic. And now, a lot of production houses are opting to release films on digital platforms as theatres won’t be opening anytime soon.
The theatre owners aren’t happy with the decision made by the producers. The CEO of one of the multiplex chain has released a statement which read, “It is very disappointing that the filmmakers are opting digital first route when we are just steps away from theatrical releases with the reopening of cinema halls across the country with all necessary precautions. “The economy is reopening and mall have already opened. They just need to have some more faith and patience to hold the content for the big screens, that is it was made for.”
