Ever since the demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, the talk on Bollywood’s favoritism and nepotism has been reignited. Several actors have come forward to put her opinion or stories of the plight that they had to go through in the industry. This has revealed the really dark side of the so-called glamorous industry. Today, Ranvir Shorey took to Twitter to take a dig at the independent filmmakers making their way into mainstream Bollywood.

The ‘Sonchiriya’ actor tweeted, “So many independent-film-crusaders have turned mainstream-bollywodd-flunkies now. These are the same people who used to rant 24/7 about the “system” for attention before they were given entry into the pearly gates of mainstream Bollywood. #Hypocrisy much?”

Now, Anurag Kashyap seems to have taken a personal blow on himself as the director replied him saying, “Do you really mean that @RanvirShorey. If you do please explain. Please say exactly what you mean and whose flunky is who?”

Further retweeting. Ranvir wrote, “I always say what I mean, @anuragkashyap72, you know that. And I don’t think what I’ve said lacks any clarity. It pretty much explains everything. As for taking names, that’s beneath me. I’m not trying to sling mud, but just reminding people where they come from.”

Well, these cryptic posts have been attracting the attention of many amid the ongoing controversy in Bollywood.

On the work front, both Ranvir and Anurag have teamed up for movies, like ‘Bombay Talkies’ and ‘No Smoking.’
