Sushant Singh Rajput, who passed away on June 14th, 2020 has left many unanswered questions. While the Mumbai Police has already termed his death as an act of suicide and ruled out any possibility of foul play, yet, they are investigating the possible reasons that might have led him to take such a drastic step.
In the recent time, the Mumbai Police interrogated the psychiatrist of the late actor who made some shocking revelations. In this case, the police summoned Sushant’s three psychiatrists and a psychotherapist. The doctors revealed that the actor used to lead a stressful life. He was also suffering from bipolar disorder but the exact cause for his condition hadn’t been diagnosed.
To give a little clarification on what is bipolar disorder, ‘It is a mental illness which is marked by extreme shifts in mood. The symptoms may include an extreme elevated mood called mania and may also include episodes of depression. People who suffer from bipolar disorder may have trouble managing the everyday life tasks or maintaining relationships. ‘
An officer in charge of the investigation revealed the details to a leading daily, the officer said, “The actor used to change his doctors after two to three visits. He has not visited the three psychiatrists more than three times each. The doctor he last visited had given him some medicines for the disease he was diagnosed with but the actor took them for about two months. He had consulted the psychiatrist over phone during lockdown but did not follow his advice. The Bandra police have recorded the statements of the three psychiatrists and one psychotherapist with respect to Sushant’s death.”
According to the doctors, Sushant had stopped taking his medicines for the last two or three months and hasn’t been following the advice given by them.
Now. the question arises if this was all known, why didn’t the people living with him ever mentioned about his illness? Did his family know about it? Whether Rhea Chakraborty tried to help him out of this problem or seeked help form his family?
Seems the Police investigation will go further till the roots of what was actually going on in the late actor’s life.
