Sushant Singh Rajput’s sisters Priyanka and Neetu Singh have approached the Bombay High Court, seeking to invalidate the FIR filed against them by the Mumbai Police. The petition was heard today and the Judges decided to keep this matter for next week.
The said FIR was lodged based on Rhea Chakraborty’s police complaint against the sisters. The matter will be heart today by the HC. Earlier in September, Rhea had filed a six- page long statement wherein she had mentioned that Sushant passed away five days after he obtained a prescription wherein “he was unlawfully prescribed psychotrophic substances at the behest of his sister Priyanka”. Rhea Chakraborty had also urged in her complaint that an FIR should be registered against Priyanka Singh, Dr Tarun Kumar, under the provision of the IPC 1860, the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Drugs Act, 1985 and Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020.
