The Mumbai police’s cyber cell has arrested Delhi based advocate Vibhor Anand for allegedly spreading fake theories with regards to late Sushant Singh Rajput and his manager late Disha Salian.
According to Mumbai Mirror, an FIR was registered in August after Anand allegedly posted videos on YouTube linking Sushant and Disha’s deaths to Maharashtra cabinet minister Aaditya Thackeray and state home minister Anil Deshmukh. Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, a police officer said, “He was picked up from his residence in Delhi on Thursday and was brought to the city. He was produced in the court and has been sent to police custody till October 19.” Vibhor Anand has been reportedly booked for defamation among other charges of the Information Technology act.
Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, while Disha Salian passed away on the night of June 8.
