Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s superhit film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn is considered to be one of the evergreen films in Bollywood. The film was highly praised by the audiences and critics alike.
But did you know, Aishwarya was never the first choice to play the role of Nandini? It was Kareena Kapoor Khan who was approached for the role. Bhansali had offered the role of Nandini to her to make her debut in Bollywood. But Bebo turned down the offer as she was going abroad for studies.
Kareena went on to make her debut in Bollywood with JP Dutta’s ‘Refugee’ in 2000 alongside Abhishek Bachchan. The actress is yet to collaborate with Bhansali for a film.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena will be next seen with Aamir Khan in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. She recently wrapped up the shooting amid the new normal. She also has Karan Johar’s ‘Takht’.
