Despite the awful reaction for the first attempt of Annabelle, the prequel to it Annabelle: The Creation went into the hands of a genuinely talented director David Sandberg. It was a wonderfully executed film with genuine scares and eerie tone. Annabelle was the 7-year-old daughter of toy-maker Sam Mullins and his wife, Esther, who died in a tragic car accident. Years later, the couple welcomed a nun and six orphaned girls into their farmhouse in California. But terror stroked when one child sneaked into the forbidden room and finds a seemingly innocent doll having a life of its own. With the terrific direction and the wonderful cast, the movie was truly amazing.
After the first success of Annabelle: The Creation, Warner Bros. Pictures is coming up with the sequel Annabelle Comes Home which serves as the seventh installment in the Conjuring Universe. The movie is directed and written by Gary Dauberman. Annabelle had created a lot of terror before and hence to keep her away from wreaking any more havoc, demonologists, Ed and Lorraine Warren bring the possessed doll to the locked artifacts room in their home. They place it safely behind a sacred glass and enlist a priest’s holy blessing. But an unholy night of terror awaits as the Warren’s 10-year-old daughter, Judy’s baby sitter opens the forbidden room. This awakens the evil spirit whose new target is Judy and her baby sitter.
The trailer has got the essence of spookiness and the ‘jump-out-of-the-seat’ music has created the environment of terror. The movie is getting released in India on 28 th of June, 2019. A great section of the Annabelle’s fans are eagerly waiting for “Annabelle to come back home.”
