Guwahati, August 30: ‘Woh Kaksh’, a new psycho-political play written and directed by B. Palkee, is set to premiere in Guwahati on September 6.
Presented under the banner of Aarya Productions, the play unfolds within a single room and brings together three voices. Rather than offering easy answers, ‘Woh Kaksh’ attempts to make the audience pause and question what lies behind power, fear and silence.
The production features Gauranga Narayan Dev, Akash Saikia and B. Palkee on stage. Gyandeep Deka has composed the music, while Dimple S. K is responsible for the lighting design. The set has been designed by Gauranga Narayan Dev and Akash Saikia.
Priyanshu Medhi, Arbab Omar, Ridip and Madhurjya Phukan are also part of the production team.
With its confined setting and focus on the psychology of power and silence, ‘Woh Kaksh’ aims to create an intimate yet thought-provoking theatrical experience. The play explores not only the visible face of power, but also the fear and silence that often exist behind it.
The premiere will be held on September 6, 2026, at 6:30 PM at Seagull Theatre Studio, Guwahati.
