Sonali was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and made a full recovery. In a recent interview, she said that the past two years have taught her not to take anything for granted and to always look for the silver lining. She also revealed that taking each day as it came helped a lot and that each time she felt low, she ‘switched on the sunshine’.
The actress is currently running a a virtual book club, which she said had given her much happiness in the past two years as she recovered from a life threatening ailment.
