If you are a fan of the famous medical drama series, ‘The Good Doctor’ then one can say that the wait is over. The series is returning soon with Season 4 after wrapping up with its Season 3 in March this year.
Recently on September 19, the poster for ‘The Good Doctor’ Season 4 has dropped and the excitement of fans has doubled. It questioned, “How do you heal a world turned upside down?” imprinted on the face of series star Freddie Highmore, who plays the role of Dr. Shaun Murphy.

The Good Doctor is an American medical drama television series which is based on the 2013 award-winning South Korean series of the same name. The series stars Freddie Highmore as Shaun Murphy, a young ‘autistic savant’ surgical resident at the fictional San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital.
The series debuted on September 2017 and received mixed reviews from the critics, with particular praise given to Highmore’s performance, and strong television ratings but criticism for the storylines while the portrayal of autistic divided the critics. The last season, i.e. Season 3 was premiered on September 23, 2019. Later on February 2020, ABC renewed the series for a fourth season which is set to premiere on November 2, 2020.
As for for what has turned the world ‘upside down’ in the world of doctors and patients at St. Bonaventure Hospital, art will reflect real life at the beginning of Season 4. It’s kicking off with a two part premiere, ‘Frontline,’ about the COVID-19 pandemic.
Highmore, Executive Producer David Stone, and others will be participating in a panel as a part of the all-digital New York Comic Con Metaverse (on the New York Comic Con YouTube Channel) from October 8-11. They’ll break down the Season 3 finale, which saw them lose one of their own, Nicholas Gonzalez’s Dr, Neil Melendez, due to the injuries sustained in the earthquake, and give fans a sneak peek into what’s to come.
