Singham Again Box Office Collection Day 3: Ajay Devgn’s Blockbuster Reigns Supreme
The latest addition to Rohit Shetty’s action-packed Cop Universe, “Singham Again,” featuring Ajay Devgn, continues to break records at the box office. By day three, the enthralling saga has amassed an impressive ₹176 crore globally, inching close to the highly coveted ₹200 crore milestone. On its third day alone, the film collected over ₹50 crore worldwide, proving its mettle with audiences across the globe.
“Singham Again” is the third installment in the successful Singham franchise, which debuted in 2011. Impressively, it has already outperformed the lifetime earnings of the original film, which stood at ₹157 crore. Within India, the film has garnered a net collection of ₹121 crore (₹146 crore gross) in its first three days, while overseas earnings contribute an additional $3.6 million (₹30 crore).
The film released simultaneously with “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” on November 1, but “Singham Again” enjoyed a strategic advantage by capturing 60% of screens compared to its competitor’s 40%, thanks to its strong anticipation and compelling fan base. The film also benefited hugely from the Diwali holiday weekend, achieving 60-65% occupancy, setting the stage for a triumphant opening.
However, the ultimate test of its sustained success will be how it performs on Monday. While a drop in viewership is expected post-weekend, the extent of this dip will determine its long-term success.
Broadening the horizons of Shetty’s Cop Universe, “Singham Again” unites sensational stars such as Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and Ranveer Singh’s Simmba. The film also introduces new faces to the franchise, including Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, adding further excitement and diversity to the ensemble cast.
