Hina khan had been the talk of the town last year with a grand poster launch of her debut film ‘Lines’, at the International Cannes Film Festival 2019. And now, ‘Lines’ is making headlines. It has won ‘The Best Feature Film’ award at the New York Cinematography Awards recently.
‘Line’ is a tale of love divided by borders. An impeccable, dark and gritty story of a young girl Nazia living in borders, representing the pains of the people of Kashmir who have always been the sole sufferers of hatred between the two countries. The film is directed by Hussain Khan and written by Kunwar Shakti Singh and Rahat Kazmi. The film also starts Farida Jalaal and Rishi Bhutani. Rishi Bhutani is essaying the role of a Pakistani guy who eventually falls for Hina (who is essaying the role of an Indian Muslim girl).
On the work front, Hina will be next seen in ‘The Country of Blind’, which is an Indo-Hollywood film. Hina will be essaying the role of a blind girl named Gosha. The film is based on the book by HG Wells of the same name.
