Former President of India, Pranab Mukherjee who was hospitalized due to brain clot surgery and COVID-19, passed away today at the age of 84. Confirming the tragic news, his son Abhijit Mukherjee wrote in his latest tweet, “With a Heavy Heart, this is to inform you that my father Shri #PranabMukherjee has just passed away inspite of the best efforts of Doctors of RR Hospital & prayers, duas & prarthanas from people throughout India ! I thank all of You.”
To this, several Bollywood celebrities took turns on the internet to mourn the loss of the former President of the nation. Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Lata Mangeshkar and Taapsee Pannu among several others paid their share of heartfelt condolence to the family and the lost soul.
