Bombay high court is all set to pronounce on Wednesday its orders in bail pleas filed by actor Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty and three others arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the case allegedly linked to ‘drug angle’ related to the actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely death on June 14.
Rhea Chakraborty continues to remain under the scanner for abetment to suicide. However, the CBI is yet to find any motive for abetment. The CBI will be sending a summon to a witness who saw Sushant dropping Rhea off in the early hours of the morning of 14th June, around 6-6:30 am. Rhea reportedly told the agency that she left SSR’s residence on June 08 after which they didn’t meet each other.
Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer, Satish Manshinde has expressed concern with regards to Sushant Singh Rajput’s family and their lawyer. He said, “It is disturbing to learn that the family of SSR and its lawyers are interfering and tampering with the investigations by bringing pressure on the AIIMS team of Doctors by speaking to them during investigations.”
