Ever since the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, the Bollywood is in the minute screening of every fan of the late actor. Not only that, several newly released movie been backlashed for one reason or the other.
Recently, Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer Coolie No. 1 has again come into a new controversy for defaming the Indian Armed Forces in their newly released song, ‘Mirchi Lagi Toh’. In the video, one can see the background dancers wearing Indian Armed Forces uniform with the ‘BALIDAAN Badges’ dancing in the background with the models. This act of negligence has pissed everyone and netizens have started to call out to the makers.
To clear out the fact, only Para SF commandos of Indian Army are allowed to wear a BAlidaan Badge and they earn it after completing one of the toughest commando training in the world.
The training is so tough in itself, that the average passing rate is just around 10 percent. It is not just a costume that anyone can wear, rather it is a matter of pride for every Para SF commando. It takes a lot of sacrifice and hardwork to earn that, and portraying dancers wearing that uniform with BAlidaan badge is not being taken on a good note by the audience.
It is indeed not the first time that Bollywood has received such backlashes. Earlier in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, the Indian Air Force was portrayed in a wrong manner. The brave hearts of these forces leave their families behind for the lives of the people of India and surely deserves much more respect than what is being served by the industry. This has indeed left the audience furious.
