The entire unit of Good Luck Jerry including movie’s lead actress Janhvi Kapoor faced the ire of protesting farmers in Patiala on Saturday evening. As agitating farmers lodged a strong protest and gathered at the site of the film shoot on Bhupindra Road, the production house was forced to wrap up the shoot soon. They even shouted slogans of ‘Janhvi Kapoor vapas jao’.
Sources say the shooting was on and suddenly a group of angry farmers stormed the venue. They raised slogans while holding flags. Seeing the situation turning tense, the unit called off the sequence. Janhvi Kapoor and others returned to their hotels. However, it did not stop protesters as they even staged a dharna near the hotel where Janhvi is putting up. No police complaint was filed.
