GAME OVER RUPALI PARDA

The Game is On

Starring Taapsee Pannu, “Game Over” is a one of its kind “suspense thriller”. Hollywood has been mixing video games and life from a long time. But this tamil-telegu bilingual thriller uses a game as it’s base and creates an edge gripping story; playing on two layers, both psychological and supernatural. The hindi version is presented by Anurag Kashyap and you can see why.

The Game is On 1

South Indian film industry has come a long way in terms of story telling and screenplay. Ashwin Saravanan’s direction keeps you grounded the entire time. The Actual action begins in the 2nd half. The first half is a little longer, but it well establishes the plot. Richard Kevin’s sharp editing keeps the story crisp and doesn’t let you blink even for a single moment. Using background score for transition is applausable. Vasanth’s cinematography and Ron Ethan Yohann’s background sound creates the environment for a perfect thriller.

We all have two lives, the second life begins when you realize that you have only one life to live.

Quote from the movie

Taapsee Pannu’s acting does a great deal to the film. The movie starts with a serial killer on loose beheading girls and burning the body. Then the plot revolves around Taapsee Pannu’s suffering from PTSD, her fight with herself and how a tattoo prepares her for the final fight. Revealing more than this will be a spoiler for all. So, go get your game-on with “GAME OVER”.
