“Epic Revival: Veer-Zaara’s Unstoppable Global Comeback Ignites Fan Frenzy!”
Last week, several leading media outlets revealed that the beloved 2004 film Veer-Zaara, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta, will be re-released in international markets on November 7. A notable addition to this release is the song “Yeh Hum Aa Gaye Hai Kahaan,” which was not included in the original version. Fans will finally have the chance to enjoy this song on the big screen for the first time.
The re-release is gaining momentum with its unprecedented scale, being distributed across more than 600 screens internationally. This expansion positions it as potentially the largest Bollywood film re-release in overseas territories ever. Notably, Veer-Zaara will debut in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman, marking a significant milestone for Yash Raj Films (YRF), the producers who have also crafted a commemorative poster.
Veer-Zaara will also be shown in the USA, Canada, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Singapore, Malaysia, South Africa, and more. The anticipation surrounding the film is palpable, with early bookings in Germany showing a promising response, suggesting that theaters worldwide may see sold-out shows during its release weekend.
November 2024 is shaping up to be pivotal for Shah Rukh Khan. It kicks off with his 59th birthday celebrations on November 2, followed by this major re-release, and concluding with the re-release of another of his iconic films, Karan Arjun (1995), both in India and internationally on November 22.
Directed by Yash Chopra, Veer-Zaara tells the poignant tale of an Indian Air Force Squadron Leader who falls in love with a Pakistani woman, leading to a series of heart-wrenching misadventures, including wrongful imprisonment. With an ensemble cast featuring Rani Mukerji, Divya Dutta, Kirron Kher, Manoj Bajpayee, and special appearances by Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini, the film remains an iconic love story revered by fans.
