Teri Mitti: Akshay Kumar and B Praak Recreate the Kesari Song

Akshay Kumar and B Praak has brought a new version of the song ‘Teri Mitti’, which is a tribute to the coronavirus warriors working relentlessly against COVID-19.

In this current pandemic situation, the health care professionals, policemen and all other emergency service providers are continuing sleepless nights to help the nation come out of the crisis. Amidst all these, the Bollywood celebrities are praising and boosting the morals of these warriors by sending their notes of gratitude. Amongst them is the Khiladi Kumar who has been actively appreciating and boosting the coronavirus fighters through his posts and videos.

Today, Akshay has come out with a new song, ‘Teri Mitti,’ dedicated to the coronavirus warriors who have been putting their life at risk for the benefit of the mankind. The song shows the glimpses of doctors, policemen, drivers and others who have been standing as a shield between the deadly virus and the people’s life. The song sends goosebumps as the lyrics goes, ‘Sarhad pe jo wardi khaki thi ab uska rang safed hua.”

The video also shows the footages of attacks on the doctors who were injured during their visit for sample collection in some towns. The overall video is an amalgamation of several popular pictures and footages captured during this COVID-19 crisis.

The video ends with Akshay Kumar’s words, “Suna tha doctors bhagwan ka roop hote hai. Lekin aaj aisa lagta hai ki coronavirus se ladne ke is chunoti ki ghadiyon mein, bhagwan ne he doctors ka roop le liya hai (We heard doctors were the incarnations of God but now in this challenging situation, it seems the God has taken the form of doctors.)

The original song is from the movie ‘Kesari’ starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra.
